  Never had to make funeral arrangements until I lost my son 10/17. The director Ernie/Ernesto was very uncompassionate towards my needs and feelings. Did not give advice on how I should handle the process. In addition, the medical examiner office give the funeral home my son's clothing and they never told me about this....therefore they threw his clothes away after 30 days. I hate this place and won't recommend to anyone. Yes it's cheap but I'd rather pay more for better service. Terrible, horrible, service. Attitude of "oh well"!

  My father passed away on Feb.5,2018 and view was Feb.9th..from the way my fathers body was picked up at Daughter's of Miriam which I was their and I must say, Ernie showed all the compassion and patient one wanted to see as other families arrived late to see my father before his body was removed and he stepped aside to allow it to happen to how well my dad was laid in the coffin for viewing and how beautifully my dad was dress with the cloths that we gave them including dads hat. The space in the funeral parlor was ample for our very large family who came to the viewing. Most of all the price was perfect. Ernie did not pressure me on any money which allow us to use the donation money that we received to pay the bill on the following day before heading to the church. Thank you for everything Ernie Alvarez and to your son, he's doing a fine job in keep up with your loyal services. Sincerly Angel M.Hernandez, oldest son to Teodoro Hernandez the deceased.God Bless.
